Modular sofa inspection not only check the whole sofa is good looking but also need each detail checking.
Structure Inspection
Seating or standing on the sofa and bouncing up and down to check the frame is strong enough to bear 120-150kg. When seating on the sofa,listen for any creaking or cracking , and check that the seating not shift.
Comfort Inspection
The seat cushions should be firm and provide good support. You can run your hand over the corners to make sure you can't feel the frame through the upholstery.
Alignment and Hardware Checking
Check that the corners are aligned, as they can shift during transit. Check each seat front stitching are in the same line, all the cushions stitching are same, the modular recliner sofa seats headrest up are alignment.If the recliner sofa with metal legs or high legs need to be assembled, Check the strength of the screws, bolts, and other fasteners used to assemble the sofa,and the bolts and holes alignment to assemble it easily. Sectional modular sofa each part has metal brackets, when assembling the sofa, checking each seats are connect well and seat front stitching alignment.
Cushions
Recliner modular sofas usually has more than 5 seat cushions.Check all the seat cushions and back cushions are fulled-filling and cushion corners are perfect filling not sunken.If the cushions corner not full-filled, we will re-work on it and make sure each part are good looking.
The Recliner Checking
Check for the section reclining sofas by turn on/off the switch to know whether the power recliner is good working. If the modular sofa are manual recliner, pull out the handles to check the handles are in good quality and reclines are on good working. If the recliners are opening smoothly, power recliner open/closed neither noise no shaking,the modular sofas are good quality.Otherwise, we will check the mechanism and adjust it well to make sure each sofa are in good condition.
Clean Inspection
Check the stains or discoloration or color difference on the fabrics. Some pen remarks will show on the sofa fabric when cutting the fabric. So we must pay attention to the sofa cleaning by our professional cleaners. Leather modular sofa usually has some remarks on the unapparent part, such as under the sofa armrests, footrest. No matter where it is, we must clean it well and make sure the recliner sofas are in good cleaning condition.
Packing Inspection
Some modular sectional sofas will be packed by carton box and most sofas will be packed by soft packages such as webbing bags or PE bags. When the section sofas in carton box, make sure four corner are protected well by hard edge protector, paper board for preventing cutting when open box.When using soft packages, make sure recliner sofas are protected well by a big hard paper board and side also well-protected.
Sofa Storage and Shipping
After all the sofa inspected and well packed, the modular sofas will be storaged in a clean and dry warehouse. When moving sofas ,make sure each part are lifting carefully and not squeezed the cushions or the armrest. And shipping sofa,we also required workers to move sofa carefully and put the sofa correctly in the containers to make sure the sofas no wrinkles and are in good conditions when delivery to our customers.
